Originally
the Honolulu Chocolate Company was a sweets and
coffee cafe located in the Manoa Valley near the
University of Hawaii campus started by Michael Cummins
and Joe DiPaolis in 1987.
Michael, who had previously worked in the restaurant,
bakery and chocolate business, and Joe, who had experience
in merchandising and display, combined their talents
with a desire to create the finest chocolates on
the island.
This small start up business grew through hard work
and determination, and is now located in the Ward
Centre.
Michael Cummins and Joe DiPaolis have realized a
dream, and are now Hawaii's largest and finest gourmet
chocolate retailer.
